VASEP proposes to overcome difficulties for fishery enterprises overcoming Covid-19 epidemic

VASEP's recommendations are as follows:

1) The Government considers to propose the General Confederation of Labor to exempt the Union fee (2% of salary fund) in 2020, and suspend the payment of social insurance premium until the end of 2020, excluding the late payment interest.

2) The Government and the Ministry of Finance consider reducing 50% of the CIT in 2020.

3) The Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade consider reducing electricity prices for factories, cold storage warehouses and allowing extension of electricity payment time.

4) The Government and the Ministry of Transport suspended BOT collection until the end of 2020 to reduce transportation costs.

5) Government and Ministries (MARD, Labor, Invalids and Environment, Finance): reduce frequency and number of regular and irregular inspections - to reduce pressure on time and manpower for seafood enterprises.

6) The Government and the State Bank of Vietnam: direct state-owned joint stock banks and commercial banks to provide low-interest loans to businesses and create conditions for enterprises to access loan packages. This preferential interest rate.

Proposing banks to extend the debt, do not convert it into bad debt, do not penalize overdue debt to create conditions for enterprises to continue production.
